Well, here's a bitter sweet piece. ;_; Coloring it was fun but really sad. I miss coloring that purple hair every month.
This is a print we just finished for the NYCC show.

Finally! Someone draws Gertrude when she's NOT incredibly overweight! She may be a little chubby but sheesh the wiki says maybe 140 pounds or so! Everyone draws her like she's in the 200s!

Bittersweet indeed, but there's a softness in this that just can't be beat, even if it is such a sad piece.

This print... gah, I remember seeing it and having the biggest happy-dance-spazz. And then someone said that if I waited a bit and then came back, you could sign it...
Looking back, I am impressed with my self-control.
This was over a year ago now (AX 2009) but this print is still cheering me up after a bad day. It's a gorgeous, warming piece, and I want to thank you for it~

The thing I don't get about Gert is that every artist that draws her changes her proportions. Sometimes she this weight- and then she's this WEIGHT. Can someone confirm what her BMI is or something? Cuz when they cast people for the movie I want to know.
