Finally, after reading and rereading his Elemental Encyclopaedia, Barush found a spell to send away the Candle Eater he had summoned by mistake, when he tried to form a contract with an Iffrit, in order to use the genie's flame to heat up his house more economically. However, the Candle Eater called Wick, grinned defiantly and ate one of the last three candles the Alchemist had to withstand the long winter.
