Not to add too much realism but you can't kneel on that surface. Β It's covered in non skid decking which will tear up your boots over time. Β Also that area of the flight desk is in no danger from landings as the image looks like it's from somewhere near the forward catapults.

I've Got Some Pictures Of USS Enterprise CV-6 In My Gallery Too If You Want To Check Em Out! I Even Have Some Of Her Sister Ships USS Yorktown CV-5 And USS Hornet CV-8! Though I Don't Think I Have A Lot On USS Hornet CV-8, But I Have Quite A Few Pictures Of USS Enterprise CV-6 And USS Yorktown CV-5!
