Having arrived at midday, Lottie was devoid of people who had arrived early in the morning and would be here after sundown, apart from the few who were also here at 12. Charlottes mum had come along, her dad away with her brothers, so she was the only one to wave off their daughter.

Bringing down the two quiet horses, her mum taking the keener of the two, the thoroughbred mare to her surprise, as for the stallion having snoozed all the way, he was dozing while walking. “Charlie could you put the ramp back up for me please! This absolute princess is starting to tow me!”

Lottie chuckled to herself while reaching into the drivers side to push the ramp button, it being automatic made things a lot easier, especially if you have polite darlings for company. Although, Sula it seemed had other plans, already beelining towards the grass with Charlottes poor mum!

Checking her phone for the school map, they headed for her allocated fields and went to chuck out the pons. This academy was just crazy though! The place was huge! It almost looked like something out of a book! And the paddocks were also comfortable in sizing. Having taken a quick pic by her mum with the two horses, of whom both of them were pining for the girls attention, made a brilliantly cute picture.

As Lottie lead Dom into the neighbouring field, pun not intended, they both released them at the same time, one going off to buck and fart and play on their todd, the other immediately head down eating, of course while walking the perimeter.

Now the horses were content out in the field, Charlotte and her mum went to move all their stuff into the tack room and stable areas, of which the stalls were absolutely luscious! These horses were living in complete luxury! She just couldn’t wait! When her mum finished helping out she had to get going to check on their newest foals, the vet having called her to say that one had been born nicely! A pretty little filly he had said.

Waving off her mum after giving her a hug and a kiss and a promise to keep in touch and message everyday, Lottie began walking over to the office to ask where her room was at. She had asked for a single room on her own, but wasn’t sure if they had space or not so she was really crossing her fingers on that one!

As she was in House Marengo, it was the long single column building opposite a House Bucephalus, both house dorms leading up to the Kasztanka and Palomo buildings. Following the office lady who had the keys to open everything, they went up all the flights of stairs, and walked to the end of the hallway, to the door at the end, with two on either side.

“Here’s the single room for a young moss by the name of Charlotte Quinn-Kerr of House Marengo! Make sure to get settled in and ring the desk if you need help with anything!” Opening her door with a nod of thanks, this was Charlottes new home for a bit.

Time to scout out the area.

Walls were painted a whiteish cream colour, however it had a baby blue tinge to it, probably because of the house she was in, as well as a single bed in the corner of her room with cabinets and drawers, a desk at the other side of the room under a window, the bathroom attached.

So this is what the extra fee was for then.

It definitely needed some redecorating. Luckily, Lottie had foreseen this and brought along some posters and pictures, as well as a plan to move around the furniture. They could get as angry as they wanted with her, this is what she was going to be living in and she oughta like it.

Counting around, there were four windows in the main room, with two in the little bathroom attachment. The bathroom was fine to stay where it was, not that she could movie it around anyways.

The plan: move her bed under the bud window in the right corner, her drawers on the door side against the walls, desk in the other corner under the other big window next to the bathroom.

She wondered if she could get some other things in here to make it more cozy. Maybe a beanbag.

Sighing, Lottie got to work.
