This drawing is more than just an entry for a contest. It represents a struggle, not just that of Lara Croft but of me as well. Like Lara I had my own mountain to face along with my own personal struggles to fight and overcome, but most importantly I like Lara had to accept the fact that I can never go back to the life that I had (a month ago) and that I half-to keep climbing, to keep moving forward, to keep fighting, to keep dreaming, and to keep writing my story and not that of someone else’s.

I might not win this contest but I am Sure as HELL going to give it my all!!

Ok now to my inspiration, I have always loved the old school art of Lara Croft, the dark and raw feeling of it. So this is my version of the old Lara Croft art…… and personally this drawing is me (I have been struggling with finding my own art and I finally found it and this drawing is it) and I am truly happy with it!!

For those of you that could care less about me and my personally struggles I am sorry you had to bear through this, I am just happy to be back to feeling like my normal self after all that I had been through this past few weeks.
