The other day I was talking to my friend about my old art from around 2000 (which mainly consists of Pokemon fan art) and complaining how horrible it is. She reminded me it's the foundation of where I am today and suggested I redo one of the images. That sounded like fun, and I had already revised my trainer anyway, so I did it.You can view the old image here - [link]
The result is interesting, haha. And I drew the Pikachu a little too big, it's supposed to be a runt. Edit: And yes, the lapras is small. It's a baby.
Done in Paint Tool SAI and Photoshop CS3. Do not copy, alter or reuse without permission.

This is so inspiring and has me SO fired up to dive back into Pokemon art. Love this revamp of an old art piece and think it really shines. The angle and personalization of both composition and pokemon is awesome!
