Description
A large gas planet, its moon, thrown mostly into shadow by several stars of a star system move high above the colorful, merging antennae galaxies. The galaxies are lit in magenta, violet, and coll blue, with warm brown matter. The haze of the galaxies is a reddish sepia, which permeates everything seeen.Watercolor on hot press.

Wow! Not only is this an awesome space scene but you used watercolors to create it. I was not aware that you could get this level of detail with this medium. I'm going to study this picture to figure out how you did it.

Thank you! Actually, watercolor has a lot of potential with practice; it's just that the rules are very different than with oils or acrylics. I recommend you lookup "Jody Bergsma", she has done some really imaginative things with watercolor.

The colours look very opaque for watercolour. I love the mix of colours on the left side beside the 'explosion'.
