Idk how to add transparency on SAI, but on fire alpaca there's an option to save as .png then you can choose 'transparent', so it might be similar to that?

yeah, i had another version of sai not too long ago and i think it had a check box for a transparent background? but i can't find it on my current version. and when you save on sai a box is supposed to come up with some options but it won't for me and i'm not sure why
