"Oh, do tell it again Father! With the funny voices!"~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Though Celestia's friends often put on plays for her throughout her fillyhood, her favorite actor in the entire wide world of Equestria was the King himself. Galaxias, though appeared stoic and majestic most of the time, actually quite the sense of humor and loved making both of his daughters (and adopted son) laugh though his various antics.
And finally, one royal parent in digital! More will come soon. I appreciate you all being so patient (as usual).

I cant tell you how much I love this idea: dark and brooding father is actually playful and hilarious when with children. All I can imagine now is him surrounded by his kids, adopted and not, and telling them the most dramatic re-telling of something embarrassing that Nova did!

That 100% happened. Nova retaliated that evening with the story of the King laughing so hard he made apple juice shoot out of his nose in front of King Riverstorm and Queen Novo. I would love to imagine them as a couple that has been together for a (literal) millennium, and behind their stoic and royal demeanor, they're actually rather fun to be around (sort of like how Celestia is in the actual show). I'm hoping to get the piece featuring Nova herself finished soon! (though its going to be a tad more somber than this one)

Now that’s a scene I really wanna see! Ooo~ I am so on board with this idea! I never give much thought to Luna and Celestia’s parents, but you bring them to life and flesh them out so well, I feel like they’re a natural part of the canon! Speaking of this family tree, I’ve never thought to ask this but, do Cely and Lulu get kiddos in your verse?

Ah, I likey. Most people can’t resist making royal nextgens for the princess *coughmecough*, so in a way, this direction is like a breath of fresh spring air. And while we’re on this topic, I gotta know, does L&C have a favorite mane six kiddo?

Oooh! So you're gonna have a new set of royal kids to eventually take over the throne? Very cool, very exciting to learn about these new leaders of Equestria! As far as where Luna and Celestia stand, they are still just and fair rulers and have taken over the extra roles of the new members of their big old "family." Celestia, of course, is very fond of Dawn Star and Athena, and the two see her (quite respectfully of course) as an aunt. Tia mentors Dawn and is understanding that her magic is finicky and may very well not have the strength of her mother's - but recognizes the traits of a good leader within. She and Luna both mentor the magic of Jupiter Sky, who sort of takes over Twilight's position as magical prodigy. The princesses plan on Dawn taking Twilight's role one day, with Athena standing as Dawn's advisor and Jupiter serving as secondary advisor, keeping an eye on the overall magic of Equestria.
Luna, while she doesn't have as much involvement in the mentoring as her sister, loves all the kids and is particularly fond of Mellow Vibes. Also of course this lady knows exactly which pony they're crushing on, so there's that. She gets so much entertainment out of watching these emotionally-constipated teenagers try to navigate their relationships, and can often prove to be the voice of wisdom if need be.

Indeedily do! In fact, I plan on revealing the future hiers in the coming week or two! Not only am I digging this mentor role for the princess ( which is so very fitting), but I’m loving the NG trinity of authority you got going on here: Level headed Dawn, with her right hoof mare, Athena ( who is, I noticed, fulfilling the ancient role that draconeqeuus used to have) , and her (I believe) hubby and second in command. It’s just so perfect!

This has become common breakfast conversation between Luna, Celestia, and Cadence whenever she comes by. Its all Cadence can do to resist pairing up her little nephews and nieces, though she and Flurry are not beyond dropping hints (and find it especially funny when their current victim becomes all flustered).

Glad to hear it! Oh, trust me, Flurry's gonna make more than just an appearance. Rather, I have planned for her to have a major role in the main KOPverse story arc. If all goes to plan, she'll almost get as much 'screen time' as Pansy. You could think of her as a Starlight to Pansy's Twilight. And yes, the two are going to be very close.
And Oh boi, I can't wait to see your 'mane six' altogether!
