Description Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque - Abu Dhabi.

The design of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque has been inspired by both Mughal and Moorish mosque architecture. Natural materials were chosen for much of its design and construction due to their long-lasting qualities, including marble stone, gold, semi-precious stones, crystals and ceramics.

There are four minarets on the four corners of the courtyard which rise about 107 m (351 ft) in height. The courtyard, with its floral design, measures about 17,000 m2 (180,000 sq ft),and is considered to be the largest example of marble mosaic in the world.

A palace of faith,

designed to last forever.

Within the building

the faithful seem fleeting ghosts

so brief their ration of days.

The architecture is wonderful, matched by the art of your composition. You captured the scale of building perfectly.

I've posted the poem with your image, credited and linked, here: alecbell.deviantart.com/art/Ot…

The architecture is really quite something. If you're ever nearby, I'd really recommend you come see it.

Oh wow, thank you
I wasn't so happy with how dark the domes turned out to be, but that's a limitation of my camera - not enough bracketing available to give them more exposure.
But thank you, I'm very flattered that you liked it so much
And I'm looking forward to seeing your work then.

I fight with myself for the lack of techniques in photography but when I see photos like yours, this encourages me to try new things. What is very interesting for me of your photos is that you don't just post them, you add important information about the places where you take photos. About this one, I learned so many things, and even better, I see your wonderful work.

By the way, thanks for all the

I'm still fairly new to photography so I'm just trying things out, but I'm glad it inspired you
Ah well, deviantArt is pretty global and I figure not everyone knows about the places, so the information often adds perspective to the photograph itself. I've actually learned that from some of the photographers on here, who post some great info about all these exotic locations they shoot.
I'm so glad you like it, and thanks for taking the time to comment and the watch xD

I'm really new to photography too, even have my first DSLR about 2 months ago, I haven't time to play with it. From this site (deviantArt) it's possible to get feedback from people, get suggestions, and learn how to improve photos, and as you said and apply to your works, I have learnt a lot of things too Enjoy to keep taking new photos I'll like so much to watch your new works, and thanks to you for replying my message

I hope you find the time, but I know what you mean. It gets very addictive!
You're right about sites like deviantArt, they really help a lot.
Good luck with the photos xD
