Description One of the illustrations I will be submitting to the Tabularasa 'zine this coming December. Unfinished, will later move this to scraps

I was watching Nona (a sweet slang for 'woman' in Malay) some time in September, and a man was showing some forgotten traditional Malay accessories and explaining what they are for. It was really fascinating. This is a redesign of the accessories on a fantasy character.

She would be the daughter of a very influential man (not necessarily the head of the village).

Thanks! The dreadlocks may be a wig, fastened onto her ponytail I guess (something like the Egyptians would do) Still, she would have to sit in the private river for almost an hour while her maids cleanse her, and then another hour (or two for special occasions) to put her clothes and accessories on... That's what she has to go through every morning since her father would bring suitors in every now and then.
