Eevee never stood a chance.4chan's little comics have corrupted my mind, and it seems as if the lower-quality ones tend to be the funniest, so I took a crack at a shitty one.

That's why the trainer uses the items. Of course, the trainer seems to be the only one smart enough to use most of the items in the game. Hell, not even Alakazam can make heads or tails of a Hyper Potion.

Well, if you think about it, the Trainer never steps in the middle of the fight, and the Pokemon never leaves its position, so it's just a little gag. It's certainly not made for relevancy.
