Yep, just 9 1/2! She still acts like she's two though and is always up for frisbee

That is so amazing. Too many times I see gorgeous border collies getting old far too earlier than they'd like to. Inside they're always puppies, even if their bodies haven't kept up.

Last fall I took her to the doggie chiropractor who was out at my herding instructor's place because she had pulled something while playing frisbee with my nieces. The chiropractor went over her and then asked how old she was. I told him and he said that he would have guessed her to be only about 2-3 yrs old because her spine and flexibility were in such good shape. That was good to hear. Keeping older dogs active is really a key thing in keeping their bodies fit and flexible into their golden years.

It definitely is so important! As well as diet - its very sad to see so many dogs overweight and unhealthy because of it. Keeping them fit and active and fed correctly definitely helps keep them young.

Thanks Katerina All my girls have heart shaped ID tags. The older girls have red ones and Gracie has a silver one with pink rhinestones. The boys have bone shaped ID tags
