~ Captain’s Log, Stardate 76796.3: Today we surpassed one of the most amazing milestones. Both myself and Fiadh managed to tack up and ride away on Starship and Comet, both took reasonably well, Comet’s experience without his quirky and defining spooks. Starship wasn’t too happy about the girth and pulling face quite a lot, played bucking instead of Comet’s sideways endeavours. At first she more questioned not going her own way and enjoyed trying to snatch the bit from my hands and chomping on it quite viciously but in the end settled down reasonably easily and we even managed to finish on a good note of a walking lap around the woody area near to the arena. At least I was only bitten once today, which was from her shock at the girth being down up for the second time. It was a huge step foreword to when she first came. She’s even quieter in the stable and no longer kicks at her door excessively and is super close to her friend Comet. ~
