I don’t have a real reason. I just love him.
I understand why people don’t like him, don’t get me wrong, but the hate isn’t that necessary. Unlike bullies who deserve hate, he has reasons that are actually valid, and all he needs is to be shown some love.

This is why I created the Nelson Protection Squad, and gave him a much better life in my main Simpsons AU. He’s still a bit of an asshole, as he should be, but he is not a horrible person, and even in canon he has his golden moments.

I no longer watch the Simpsons mainly because I’m unable to right now, but also because I hate the new Seasons. If there are any Nelson moments (WITHOUT LISA) that you think I might like from the recent episodes, please do let me know!
