This is a very qick sketch of Sakura I did while I was working yesterday. My students were doing an exercise I just gave them and the only thing I could think about was drawing this
What a bad teacher I am
Naaah no worries I did this, because I knew they'll stay still and do their excercise

Sure mine is way less dynamic than his but I agree with him : Sakura needs more badass scenes and that's why this came on my paper. I know her eyes seems a bit off and that the pose may not be great but don't forget it's a 10 minutes sketch.

I definitely encourage drawing traditionally, and it seems you have better proportions when you do!
Especially the knees, they are very hard to draw in that pose but you managed very well.

I made them do a test: they had to write a post on a forum about a guy who had problems at school. Of course everything had to be in German
Plus they'll have another test next Wednesday because they were awful yesterday as well !

I hope so ^^ They can't even learn voabulary properly ... everytime I ask them a special word, even if we learned it together and sometimes even if it's still written on the blackboard, they say they don't know

Nah, I get really wound up with teens that don't take their future seriously. I'm pretty sure 70% of my year in high school were like that, and judging by their profiles and stuff on Facebook, they're still doing it, which means they only live to be a burden on their community =.=
There is a silver lining though. One guy in my year was extremely passionate about football, that after high school, he went to America to go to a real prestige football school university. ^^
