Description
Here's a shot that better shows off the size of my cape and the "flags" (or scarves or whatever) which kinda sprout from it, one of my favorite parts of the costume.

The things're lined with metal wire which allows me to make 'em stand and bend in the way I want 'em to. The cape is absolutely huge and was a bit of a pain to make and transport, as the yellow fabric it's lined with creases very easily even if I'm extremely careful folding it for transport - I ended up just carrying the thing over my shoulder. I still have to find a nice red trim for it, too, as I was unable to find anything suitable in the surrounding area and didn't really feel like spending a shitton of money ordering five meters of trim off of eBay. In my rendition of Kefka I went for a look that's a bit more grand, elegant and imposing than the way he's usually portrayed by people and I think I pulled it off nicely. This is also the reason I decided to forego the Heath Ledger-esque MASSIVE smile makeup he dons in Dissidia, as I just thought that too silly and over-the-top for the look I was going for. (;
