Well... I have decided to start up a collection of fanarts for Crown/Court Duel.
This is Tamara, a spoilt brat if you ask me, but she's an interesting character. I meant for this drawing to show her when Meliara first meets her, with the jewels in her waist length hair, and the blue dress. Fans of the book forgive me for not drawing an afternoon dress but I prefered it like this, and I'm still deciding on the back ground.

Crown Duel is pretty much my favorite book of all time. No joke. I've read a lot of books, but Danric absolutely captured my heart.

I love your take on the dress. You know...I realize that we've taken Sherwood's descriptions and sketches of her dress and deviated from it just a tad (the clothes I mean). Like...all of us have, and it's not a bad thing, but it's interesting to notice. It may have something to do with the fact that we all have different ideas about it, but when I read back to the descriptions and look at my sketches, I have moved away a bit.

Yeah, it's a bit frustrating when you can't really get down what you think, especially when you keep changing the images in your head, but I guess we can only do our best

yeah... I guess I'm a bit cautious around colours... I was afraid that I would ruin it. That and the scanner kinda dulled the colours a bit. I'll improve on it soon
