Yay L!!! And a broken mirror! Reflecting an apple! If you don't get it, it's because you fail! 8D (Or, you know, you haven't read The Best Fanfic Ever.)To attempt an explanation, I've been reading and flailing about this fanfic called Poison Apple (by ) for a while now. It's safe to say I am OBSESSED. So I just HAD to draw fanart for the wonderful authors. Go read it if you haven't.

XD Yeah, it upset me a lot too. I was so sad, but I kept reading. Three of my favourite characters don't come into it until after, so I had no choice. You should definitely finish it though, it's super good.

Ah, thankyou sooooooo much! It's wonderful! ^^ I love the idea of the piece of mirror reflecting an apple, and it's also cool how it covers one of L's eyes, which parallels the whole mirror-mirror-eyes thing from our fic! The red/black/white thing is also a nice contrast, and the lineart is really cool! What pen did you use for this? I particularly like L's hair and his hand (and the creases in his shirt).

Oh my gosh, I'm so glad you like it! I spent so much time trying to make it perfect. Hee! I had so many other ideas too, but I got this in my head and it wouldn't leave me alone. As for the pens... for the lines themselves, I used a couple different Micron pens, and for the hair I used a Faber Castell brush pen. I love them to death.
