Hello, If some of you Folks have just Enjoyed some Snow Fall the past Days and seeing some Snow still left on the Ground, kinda like where I'm at right now, I've come to share some Nice Videos from 'Funchase', showcasing some Snow down by the Boardwalks of Wildwood, NJ.

Our First stop is Images of Wildwood in the off season accompanied by the haunting music of Aerosmith. The song is called 'Seasons Of Wither' and comes from their 1974 album 'Get Your Wings'.

A winter storm hit the Wildwoods on January 30th and 31st 2010 enveloping the island in white. Snow at the shore is an amazingly beautiful and peaceful experience.

January 8th, 2011 brought more of the white stuff to Wildwood NJ with another snowstorm setting up for early in the week.

On January 27th, 2009 the Gods decided to treat South Jersey to a little snowfall... a rare occasion these days and one this user took full advantage of. The Golden Nugget was a somber but peaceful sight that night, one Funchase knew he will likely not see again. Scheduled for removal starting February 2nd, this will surely be the last snow to fall upon the Nugget. The music is a score composed by Howard Blake for the animated short film "The Snowman" of which FC improvised on piano... something he do with everything that he play. Funchase has played by ear since age six and cannot read music.

Back to back blizzards devastated the Wildwoods on February 5th and 6th - and again on the 9th bringing record snowfall and gale force winds. Amidst the chaos the storms caused, Funchase was able to capture only a handful of the many images he'll carry with him the rest of his days. Power was down throughout the Wildwoods including FC's house and many others for 7 long cold days. he's lived here all his life and this storm far surpassed the blizzard of 1978 which until now was the "big one" that islanders recall, himself included. The blizzards of 2010 brought down an overwhelming number of power lines and poles (some sparking tree fires as they came down paralyzing the entire community). Most damage occurred during the first storm however recovery would be delayed by a second storm only days later. The haunting song is 'Round The Bend' by Beck and comes from his amazing album 'Sea Change'.

Cape May County received 20 plus inches of the white stuff on Christmas weekend 2010. The first flakes started to fall late Christmas night and by morning the storm was really starting to crank up. For snow lovers in Wildwood NJ this has been a dream year.
