First bubble - Did you hear about the witch?
Second bubble - The one they took to the Circle Palace? What about her?
Third bubble - Apparently she's so terrible, they ended up locking her away. Not even the priests can handle her.

I love how clean your artwork is, even though you're using pencils. May I ask how you avoid getting the pencil marks smeared? I've been leaning toward fiddling with manga tones, lately, because of their finished look, but if I can get the same crispness from pencil work, I'd rather do that. Or maybe both.
Also, just pointing out the grammar error in the first bubble. Should be "have you heard" or "did you hear"...
The "what's with it?" in the second bubble confuses me, as well.

This tutorial is pretty neat. We're starting to fiddle with non-photocopy pencils in my cartooning class, but the teacher didn't actually know how to selectively remove that color from the scan-art... very handy, thanks!

I'd be kind of surprised to hear that sort of language in the Suiko world, much less from Luc's mouth. Though I remember "I'm going kick his ass" in Suiko 2.

Indeed, I just pictured the same. Sasa is always being polished like a mirror every day, so his mouth must be equally clean I imagine. Saying a foul word wouldn't really suit him
