Overall, the lines look good as far as placement--but if this is a vector work, they should be smoother.  What program are you using?  You should be able to get some really clean lines in Adobe Illustrator with a tablet and the blob tool (you can vary line weight with pressure).

And you could use a gradient mesh for the asteroid, too, to get the "painted" effect but still keep the entire piece as a true vector work.  I'm not sure that it qualifies as vector art currently.

Good job so far, though!
