Yseults immense fear of deep water had her in a chokehold beneath the waves, darkness gripped at the edges as she struggled against the waves as more water filled her and more air left her lungs.
Fiadh found her mother despite the darkness beneath the waves, the limited light made it hard to locate her mothers dark form before her maw met fur and she managed to locate her mothers scruff. It was a struggle to head towards the surface, the constant downfall from the waterfall caused intense ripples of water atop and beneath the waves. Though Fiadh fought, darkness began to seep into her own vision as she wrestled with her own limited air supply.
But as Fiadh met the surface, breaking it and began to swim towards the shore.
She wasn't entirely sure if her mother.. was breathing.
It was then that true fear spiked through her body, and the Guardian dragged her mother ashore with choking coughed as she lay Yseults body against the bank away from the waves. Fiadh was no healer, she didn't know how to remove water from the lungs. In desperate attempts, Fiadh grabbed her mothers scruff and shook violently before placing Yseult once more. Nothing.
Fiadh paced, soft whines escaped her maw between coughing as she looked at the still form of her mother. Before she pressed her paws down on Yseults chest, one on and one off, swapping to see if her weight would do anything to bring up water. Fear spiked along her spine as she stared down, waiting for any signs of change.
