Sorry for the quality. I'm not a very good shooter with my camera, and the original drawing is to big for the scanner.This was supposed to be an entry for contest of Song inspired art.
I took the inspiration from two places:
The song itself: Cosmia by Joanna Newsom: [link]
And the actress of the peruvian movie "La teta asustada".
It was drew with watercolour pencils. And also I used a black pen for some parts of the butterflies.

I like her expression as well and theres alot of feeling in her eyes hun this is gorgeous! I love the idea so much, her hair is pretty and hun those butterflies are gorgeous! You should be proud of this one, maybe later you could try the idea again? I really like it. ^.^ Great work love

Thanks a bunch. If ever Im able to have photoshop I'll scan it in parts and join, this is very messed up, changed the colours and you can't even see that it's made with watercolours...

I really like the composition of this picture, the butterflies, and her expression, but I'd love it if you could make your colors more vivid. It would really make things pop.

Do you have a scanner? It might help, because I'm sure you can adjust the contrast and things like that. You can also adjust the colors in Photoshop.
