  I've been thinking a lot about Magical Girls recently for some reason. Probably has something to so with all of the anime I've been watching. Why the hell are they always like 14 years old? 14-year-old girls are definitely NOT emotionally stable enough to be charged with the protection of the human race! What if we had a Magical Girl anime where the Magical "Girls" weren't so much girls as they were young ladies on the cusp of womanhood (college age), that remain magical girls until adulthood (Many become influential members of society), at which point they can pass on the mantle and another is chosen. Heterochromatic eyes of unusual hue would be sure fire indicators of a magical girl and the catalyst for transformation.
  It'd be funny, cus college girls are jaded and so done with the world. Evil villains wouldn't be able to handle a bunch of disgruntled college ladies who just want to sleep and get through finals. I also want muscular magical girls who win their battles by punching monsters in the face. That would be awesome.

  Basically this entire post is a form of wish-fulfilment. Also, tiny little pose exercises.

  I've wanted to revive this here original character for a while now. Miss Robin up there was just about the most Mary-Sue character I had ever created, but I decided that I liked her design too much to not get the treatment she deserves. Now, she's a health-nut mechanical engineering major who doubles as a fisticuffs magical girl in her spare time.

  Robin was chosen to become a Magical Girl shortly after her 20th birthday, and frankly she could've done without it. Trying to balance school work, social life, and defending the Earth from monsters makes her want to smash her head into a wall. Upon ascent into Magical Girlhood, Robin was granted immense physical strength and stamina. In battle, she's a close-combat fisticuffs fighter, packing a wallop with armored gauntlets and boots. She's a health enthusiast, enjoying herbal tea and pumping iron at the gym in her spare time (though she's spent less time there after she magically gained the strength to lift a car over her head). She takes great pride in her hair that she always keeps strong and shiny.
