Description Inkutik Tribesman:

The wolf anthros of the Inkutik are a unique people. Hailing from the Northwest, they are a tribal people split between hundreds of tribes and a dozen or more tribal confederations. Due to their part of the continent being particularly harsh, with dense forests and winding rivers in the south and rocky hills and frozen tundra in the north, they live a largely primitive lifestyle. Much of their everyday tools and items are made of stone, bone, wood, hide, plant fibers, and metal imported from outside their land. The metal of their land is often located deep within the earth requiring large scale deep mining that most tribes cant do. As such most of their manufactured goods are either imported from traders who come to them or made by tribal craftsmen and smiths using raw goods imported from aforementioned traders

Those living within the southern, more forested and river laden south of the country make up a little over half the provinces population and live within settled villages. Often settled around rivers, these tribes practice limited subsistence agriculture and live in villages with populations numbering in the dozens, to hundreds, and even thousands. Though only a few have gotten so large as to be considered actual towns hosting tens of thousands, and are usually jointly governed by multiple tribes. The other part of the population live semi nomadic lives in the tundras to the north, with few permeant villages most of them move around following the wildlife and plantlife of the region on sleds and live in hide tents.

Due to this, and despite their relatively peaceful nature when interacted with, war is a big part of their society as well. Despite their lack of large scale metalgury the warriors of the Inkutik go into battle armed with spears, clubs, war picks, sword clubs, axes, bows, and even handguns. In place of metal armor most veteran warriors wear armor of thick hardwood over heavy leather underarmor, the wood often decorated with clan symbols and wooden helmets made elaborately to look like the heads of beasts. Despite this primitive, if colorful, appearance their armor is remarkably tough able to stop many iron and steel blades and even musketballs at moderate ranges

The warriors you see here are unarmored tribesmen. They are not warriors but are eager to fight and defend their home from anyone who thinks them weak.
