this was truly an interesting experience. I had a portfolio shoot scheduled, but I wanted to find a photographer with a more expressive style, so I browsed through local photographers' portfolios, and selected several of them. Then I wondered, who to write to first, so I offered a TFP to my top choice photographer. He said 'yes' and we went on to shoot 3 days after my portfolio shoot. He wanted a melancholic/ dark/ Goth theme, something that I've moved away from, but then it was so familiar to me, it was very easy to slip back into that glove. His friends did the crazy hair and make-up, we had a wonderful assistant helping out with lighting, wardrobe and everything else, it was all-round a lovely shoot.

The title: all the Goth stuff created a mild conflict within me, 'should I or shouldn't I go back there?' my skirt has a black layer on top of a creamy base, and you can't see it well here, but my hair is half black and half crimson, so there's a lot of duality/ dichotomy here. I could say it's happening in my life, too, and it's kind of exciting
