CD cover for my song, “Shades of black”, the lyrics of which can be found here [link] .
Technically, this wouldn’t be considered an album cover, unless I decide to call the album “Shades of black”, like the song, but I hope I won’t have to. It’s rather a cover art for the single of a singer/ songwriter who writes her music on some synthesizer software. [anyone wishing to sign me?]

For the CD cover contest [link] , intermediate skill level.

Some more on my music. I've written lyrics since I was 11 or 12, but, having no proper musical background, I couldn't turn the words into songs - not properly at any rate. A few years back I decided to concentrate on my singing and I've been doing tons of voice and ear training ever since. I also study music theory and take Solfeggio classes. Throughout the past 2 or 3 years, I have made some recordings of my voice without music, performing the songs I've written. However, such material is not listener-friendly, so I'm currently working on instrumentals to some of the songs [I'm planning to complete 10 songs or less out of 50+, hopefully before the end of June]. And finally, composing a song is truly an overwhelming task for a single musician, especially for a beginner. So I'm looking for people to team up with, but so far, no results.
