Nicole? Sally's handheld computer? I've only ever watched Satam and read the early Archie comics, so excuse my confusion.

In the comics by Archie (prior to their discontinuation), a small lab accident involving conducting the energy stored in Power Rings accidentally caused NICOLE and Sally to briefly Body swap.
In doing so, NICOLE was briefly allowed to experience the sensations a living being could, and described them as intoxicating. She even experienced Sally's attraction to Sonic when he encounter Sally with NICOLE still in her body.
Since then, she's vastly improved in terms of sentience and even created her own form to try and live like a normal Mobian (with a few hiccups along the way)

I must agree with your opinion. Personally, I think most of the Pre-SGW Archie characters introduced from SatAM are inferior when compared to the latter. Except for Nicole. I guess I just enjoy AIs that have emotions and are also not evil.

Yeah she does! After issue 252, she got an updated look just like all the Freedom Fighters! Β I'll give ya a few images. You could probably find more, haha.

It's a great pose of Nicole, but what bothers me is the unflattering grey background. It's so drab to look at that it doesn't do Nicole any favours.
