Description Looking out across the lake, a small and broken bridge led the way between the rock outcroppings that had to of once been a popular summer spot. In the summer, with the frantic pace of the lakes waters, the delicate bridge is lost in the commotion. However, in the pre-winter months, snow capped peaks and still waters make this little, broken bridge to memories of years past the most pronounced artifact in the valley.

Very nice. The reflection of that bridge is gorgeous against the mountains. I do find myself getting distracted by the righthand corner though, as mentioned above it looks a bit overexposed, as those strong highlights draw the eye. But I also think that compositionally, having a second broken bridge at a somewhat straight-on angle takes a little bit away from the primary bridge. But overall a lovely capture

thanks! I have been seriously considering re-working this shot to fix that issue. I definitely dont want the eye drawn to the corner... I appreciate all the constructive feedback everyone has given on this image

Trevor, this is -really- good. Something about the bottom-right hand corner bothers me though...it looks like it has a different exposure than the rest of the shot, like it's overexposed. Also that chunk of earth seems a draw your attention away from everything else.

thanks! I noticed the same thing. I think the logs on the bottom right hand corner are reflecting more light then logs/boards on the rest of the bridge. I did use tonemapping on this photo, which made it more pronounced.
