I like all the futuristic features. Looks like an omni-tool on his arm.

That piece was HEAVILY inspired by mass effect. Even though the omni-tool doesn't make much sense, it is quite a lovely holographic thing X3.

Am I missing something obvious about how omni-tools work? They've always confused me. Where's the thing that generates the hologram and stores everything? Still, it definitely looks good.

That suit is more or less a cosplay item, it's a replica of an old infantry suit that is over 200 years old by the time my character is born. Without the suit he is thoroughly trained, I wont say he can dodge bullets since by the time your brain tells you to move a gauss rifle has already put 4 rounds through your chest. But he is heavily augmented, not someone you want to pick a fight with in a street fight, prosthetic limbs and eyes and heavily augmented senses as well.ย

They are called nanotrites and no he does not need them to regulate his systems. His prosthetic's are powered by an internal bio-chemical fuel cell, it efficiently converts organic waste and nourishment into stable energy more than sufficient for daily use but the limbs do contain a super capacitor in the skeletal central structure just in case.ย

It's based on the omni-tool yeah, but it's more of a holographic display for the convenience of the audience, since it's displayed in a spectra only visible to his augmented eyes, would make less sense if he had his arm raised for no particular reason XD.ย

If he has his prosthetic eyes set to the correct frequency? Yeah, he can. Hyperspectral imaging is nice like that x3.ย

Primarily ranged combat and drone warfare, Altinians prefer pinning the enemy down under a hail of ranged firepower, artillery and sending out autonomous attack units to harass and overwhelm the enemy while their organic troops stand back and provide fire and air support. But all ground pounders receive basic melee combat training just in case.ย

EMP is relatively easy to protect against. Specifically, a faraday cage can render all but the most persistent of EMP, the magnetic kind, ineffective. Also carbon-circuitry conducts far more current than metallic circuitry and lacks the standard impurities of said metal like gold or copper. So an EMP, while it will cause thermal damage due to increasing the electricity passing through the circuit will not overload it as it would a conventional one. So faraday-caged units are immune to the 1st 2 tiers of EMP saturation and carbo-circuit using ones are highly resistant to all three forms.ย

Yeah, except I'd like to see a regen-morph survive a plasma focus of 250.000 degrees centigrade... good luck restoring that much lost mass you... freaky... weird... grotesque thing!ย

Taine's planet is a Garden-classified world about 1.5 times larger than Earth. It is comprised of basically reverse geography and topography to Earth, meaning Japan is laced against African and Africa is considerably larger and South and Central America are separated and Central America is much larger. By now it is an extremely populated but well-organized mess. It's current population is in excess of 75 billion individuals living in retrofitted structures from the old world and the mega structures of the new and improved world.ย
His tail is a... sweet spot so to say. The base of the spine right above it is a pressure sensitive area, so... yeah it's considered mildly lewd to rub someone there as it's a good way to tease them! And he DOES purr, though purring loudly depends on what you are doing! :รพย
