Description I found this little plant so alone in the middle of the sand, and the background was so nice that I decided to take a shot of it.

True! I think it's because it rained a bit before I took this shot, so the sand looks like sugar.

This seems like it could be seen in quite a few different ways, when I first saw it I thought of loneliness, but after reading the title I can't think of anything other than it reaching out to search the background.
