Yet more Final Fantasy fanart! Did this just over a year ago, I'm resubmitting it though because the scanned quality is so much better than the quality of the photograph I took and submitted a while back. There's a poem I wrote to accompany the picture...

Cloaked in black, blade and sheath
Within those hands of death and grief,
Smirking lips were lightly pressed,
But split as that man pierced your chest.
Point through heart, I felt it too,
Watching life fall out from you,
Drip by drip, and tear by tear,
You softly spoke into my ear;
Fading words both pure and true,
As proclaiming "I love you"
You softly slumped into my breast,
And at the point I did my best,
To help you pass into a world,
Where your small voice is widely heard.

Time has passed, 7-3-0,
But now I don't know where to go,
Losing faith in life and love;
I search below and search above,
To find my loss and speak to you,
Saying the words "I love you, too".
But blank I find and blank I leave,
I sigh a sigh and roll the sleeves,
Keep on searching, until the end,
Hoping to find that beloved friend...
Still no bounty, nor a prize,
I simply wish to see those eyes,
To embrace the light and feel as thine,
Let me see you, one more time.
