With all this talk of Lucemon going to a hero school, of course my scholarly digimon Wisemon would be very eager to help him with preparations. Lets face it, we all know he's passing the entrance exam. But while Wisemon is looking forward to this, Lucemon is having doubts. After all, he's the head of the 7 Demon Lords, the Demon of Pride and widely considered one of the most evil entities to ever plague the Digital World. Poor Lucemon is overwhelmed by the shame of his past, despite having no memories since his rebirth as my digimon. Wisemon tries to settle his nerves, but may not be able to get out of this without telling the little angel about his demonic past.I like to read up on as much lore as I can find on anime and game series I like, and with all the (honestly fairly hidden) lore in Digimon through all the digimon profiles, I grew interested in how exactly Lucemon became the head of the demon lords he's so well known as despite starting out as the being responsible for saving the digital world from destroying itself. So I figured before he goes to UA, I could make a couple comics to present what I worked out as his story and why I felt he deserves better based on what lore I've pieced together.

Well.
If I might add:
Millenniumon was the primary antagonist of the obscure games that feature Ryo Akiyama as the protagonist, he was the greatest threat and most immediate in the Digimon multiverse for successfully take control of both the Digital World(s), and Analog World (Human World) and Ryo was the only hope as the Chosen and Tamers and Warriors were defeated and cloned to become Millenniumon henchmen and minions.
The guy has the ability to create and destroy dimensions at will, alter space and time whatever he wanted and was the epitome of all evil.
Came Digimon Sunburst and Moonlight and Guess who is the Digimon from an Order of Protectors and the most kind of them all?
That's right, Millenniumon, ZEEDMillenniumon.
Another example? Very Well. Demon Lord Beelzemon, General of the Nightmare Soldiers and Lord of Gluttony that only fights and kills the strongest but doesn't even touch the weakest. Tamers shows us this Demon lord as Antagonist force, yes, but we also saw him on the side of the heroes. Xros Wars had us another Beelzemon who is an Angelic Warrior
In Cyber Sleuth you can recruit every DEMON LORD to your team. Also, the same is true in Next Order.
Digimon is the only franchise of the Monster Genrer where the creatures don't have or need to follow a fixed evolution line. Digimon can turn into Demon Lords Type Ultimates but aren't necessarily The Seven Greats Demon Lords themselves.
This Lucemon doesn't really mean that he has to follow the Lord of Pride's steps.

As of Tri we see Megadramon as the powered up form of one of the former heroes partners.
prety sure most of the games let you raise virus types that dont act any more villainous. Over in cyber sleuth i have a Machindramon that digi lined me to ask to play red light green light.
Aaaaand even Guilmon is a flat virus type and he becomes one of the royal knights in his two final forms.

Considering how his profile in cyber sleuth has him listed as a great angel before falling or leading the 7 Demon Lords I'm sure you'll portray him and his past affiliations properly.Β
Honestly I could see you convincing Lucemon when he was at his most evil to start anew if he lost against your team or something.Β

Indeed. There's so much I've been wanting to portray with his story. Like how he didn't have a demonic form until after his famous rebellion and banishment into the Dark Area. So he was still overall his good angelic self. So what did the dark area do to change him? Or WHO in the dark area changed him at such an early point in their world? I believe GranDracmon is responsible! His profile stated a number of suspicious things.
1. The collective 7 Demon Lords are afraid enough of him to steer clear.
2. He's ancient enough to have witnessed the creation of the dark area (the only one who did), which should be just about as ancient as the digital world itself.
3. His most infamous trait is his skill for convincing angel digimon to fall from grace. And odd thing for his profile to mention since he's a recluse who doesn't leave the dark area. The only angel types known to end up there are Lucemon and his rebellion. (which included Daemon (also Bagramon, but he went his own way))
Oh I do indeed have something kinda like that planned for our fated confrontation.

GranDracmon is also a carrier of the X Antibody and the only one who knows the details of how the Dark Area came to be within the Digital World. He also has knowledge about the mysterious digivolution Death X.

There's so much mystery surrounding this digimon! Why don't the creators ever seem to do anything with him?

Who knows, he mostly appears in the games and the manga Digimon Chronicle. In Digimon Chronicle X. he defeats some digimon in the old Digital World, forces them to undergo Death-X Evolution and sends them to the Dark Area.

Lilithmon I've actually managed to reform too. Should probably go a little further into how that happened too.
Beelzemon I've planned to come back to cause some trouble soon.

Did they all reincarnate too? Definitely bring in Belphemon. His rookie form is so adorable, Babette will adopt him if you donβt.
If I recall the usual rookie forms are:
Levia-Syakomon
Barba-Candlemon
Dae-Demi Devimon
Belphe-Phascomon
And Lilithmonβs other rookie route is said to be Tsukaimon that becomes Witchmon then Beastmon.

Out of curiousity, since he has a past life, would this be the same Lucemon we see in Frontier? Because they Lucemon split into two digi-eggs, a good and an evil. The evil egg turned into Satan Mode, while the good egg just dissappeared. We see it dissappear on screen. In the cerberusverse (yes i'm calling your little AU that now), would this Lucemon come from the good egg that dissappeared at the end of frontier, taken/teleported by Cerberus and Wisemon? If so, this brings up an interesting topic. What will happen when he digivolves? I mainly build it on this quote frome his profile: "It has a contradictory existence, in that one side of it loves all things, as God does, while the other is trying to destroy the whole world, as the Devil does." The thing is though, Lucemon after his death, as mentioned before, split up into two digi-eggs, a good and an evil, so would that mean once he digivolves that he will only contain the side that is good and no longer will have a contradictory existance, and will be a pure angel instead of being half-angel half-demon?
Speaking of Wisemon, if he were to digivolve, would he become AncientWisemon or Piedmon?

Huh. Ya know, I actually never considered that. But it's a very good point. XD I was actually going to make this one's story mostly based on the entries in the Digimon reference guides and my take on them. But the pure egg from Frontier would make sense with my Lucemon's attitude, since he's the complete opposite of his evil side. As a villain, he was the lord of Pride, yet this Lucemon is clearly very humble and lost the desire to destroy anything. I may have to think on whether or not to work that into this.
Oh MY Wisemon will be AncientWisemon. If he ever felt like digivolving.

Glad you liked my theory. That brings up just another question: Digimons are reborn upon death, unless killed by a demon lord or deleted, which means that Satan Mode returned as a digi-egg as well. Does that mean that while your Lucemon is pure and an angel, there's an evil and demonic Lucemon running around? Again, with the whole splitting into two digi-eggs thing, a good/light and an evil/dark. If Satan Mode respawned as well, that'll mean that he too would no longer be a "contradictory existence" since he's now pure evil, and a complete demon.
Where did you get Chaosmon from btw? And how did you make him able to live so long, since he's lifespan is shorter than that of Rafflesimon?

Well if my Lucemon was indeed reborn that way, then there just might be an evil one. Unless that evil was dropped into the Dark Area.
My Chaosmon was from my BanchoLeomon and former enemy Darkdramon combining. They prefer to be separate to avoid the shortened lifespan. Though I hadn't used them in my comics just yet.

I agree with you there. It is something to ponder over. And as for the Wisemon Question..I would guess it depends on what path they take. Good for AncientWisemon, Evil/Chaotic for Piedmon.
