Description Have I ever talked much about Dragon's Dogma? I should have. It's still one of my all-time favorite rpgs even to this day! I still never beat Bitterblack island. Though back on PS3, I did defeat the infamous Ur-Dragon in a spectacularly epic way! Boy do I not look forward to doing that again... I'm not sure I can pull of the same crazy maneuver again. Anyway, since I love the game so much, and I have a habit of looking for LITERALLY every opportunity to monstergirl-ize something, I decided to monstergirl-ize the vast collection of monsters in the game! Starting with the ones I fight to the soundtrack of Goblin Slayer, the goblins! Let's see if I can work them into a monstergirl setting.

The goblins of Gransys are more savage than than most. None of them bother with merchant work or trying to integrate with human society like most MGE goblins. Instead, they like to take what (or who) they want for their own tribes. This brings them into conflict with most human settlements. Natural scavengers, they dress in bits an pieces of cheap old armor they find lying around or steal off of soldiers and guards. They've ultimately not been taken too seriously by most due to their childishness and treated like annoying brats. Despite this, many Cyclops in the region seem to tolerate them well enough and keep them under control (probably because of goblins' love of big things). Lately, the land's goblins seem to have made an alliance with a local human cult for unknown reasons. Many believe it may have something to do with a reclusive dragon recently becoming active...

The hobgoblins are the leaders of the goblin tribes. Though the hobgoblin birth rate is noticeably higher in this region that anywhere else, so not all are in positions of leadership and may act in other high positions such as personal guards to their group's 'queen', lieutenants, or hunting pack leaders. One especially ambitious hobgoblin managed to overthrow an important human outpost, the Shadow Fort, a massive border gate. Though it was retaken by a hero, the hobgoblin leader managed to escape after a short duel. Many believe this overly ambitious undertaking was carried out with the assistance of a necromantic human cult...

Cyclops are surprisingly common in Gransys for such a reclusive race. They would mostly act carefree and laze about the fields, though some have formed "alliances", mostly with goblins. While the goblins are seen as obnoxious or bratty by most monster races, the relaxed and patient cyclops' seem to look fondly upon the rambunctious little gobs, almost like doting mothers. So they sometimes follow along on the goblin's raids to look after them and become furious when they perceive any threats against the little ones. These "armored cyclops" are known to wear intimidating helms, though they're more for hiding their faces out of shyness than protection or intimidation. Cyclops are pretty self-conscious after all. Though they're mostly known for being laid-back, there are rumors of larger, more aggressive subspecies that can occasionally be encountered, though these could just be rumors...

Right? I love the game! Really hope they start making a sequel now that DDO is shut down.

Hm, been a long time since I seen you did anything with Dragon's Dogma so this is new. With the goblins not surprising considering the little fellows always try to attack you regardless of how strong you become(always enjoy mopping up packs of them from time to time), with the Cyclops, expected seeing they are rather very mellow monsters compare to other boss-type enemies in Gransys, although I loath to fight those accursed Gore Cyclops especially the big ones.

Curious how you will do Grigori and with the Bitterback Isle enemies, Daimon being the most peculiar one to do considering how he was created in the expansion.

Yeah. Last time I only made some pics for my arisen, Allen. Now I finally have more characters for him to deal with on his adventure!
Those goblins just never learn, do they? They really wanna get that arisen.
I'm still terrified of Bitterblack Isle's massive Gorecyclops. I never had the nerve to pick that fight.

Oh yes. that'll be quite the challenge. Sure, I'll probably just use a demon for Daimon/Ash, but deciding on what exactly she'll look like could be difficult, especially in the outfit department since Daimon doesn't really wear clothes for me to work off of.

I notice, seeing you were focused on other things after that. Yep, courtesy of you dropping Henry and Woobie into his Journey as a Arisen. Yeah, the goblins are the punching bag for every Arisen in Gransys, regardless of how much stronger each later version of them pop-up. Yeah don't blame you, it's usually recommend to fight those things one at a time and have a high level team fully geared-up and prepped as it can take a long time to just to take down one of them.

Yeah, Daimon will be difficult to translate into MGE style considering his appearance and how it would work seeing from a concept point-of-view. for a MGE design of Daimon, probably a demon with heavy draconic influences in her design due to how the original was created, for clothing, you can try to use some of the Bitterblack Lv3 armor designs and see how that works for you.

Yeah, but now maybe I can make comics with Allen dealing with Gransys MGs. Though I had also wanted him to be a character in my MGE comics too.
Of course, now there's MGE goblins running around with their crazy strength. That could be trouble. XD
I did best a lesser gorecyclops in some caves in the main game, but I'm still terrified of fighting the massive chained one that looks like it came out of a Hellraiser movie. XD

Well looking into it, you do get to see what Ashe looked like before becoming Daimon, so maybe I can figure out a good way to warp his (her, really since this is MGE style) clothing to a demonic style while still keeping Daimon's draconic features noticeably recognizable.

Figure that seeing you now have something else to work on(also pester and indirectly torment Allen seeing he's a woobie). Not, surprising seeing you eventually crossover other worlds with the MGE universe. Yeah the Gransys goblins, even as monster girls are still annoying to deal with and now combine new looks to make people hesitate fighting them. Yeah, the normal GoreCyclops are manageable as long you have a good team comp and decently bulked-up to fight them, with the giant ones? best fight smart and make sure your only fighting them by their selves otherwise you best take out the weaker bosses and enemies before fighting the giant.

Yeah, Ashe's clothing would probably be tailored into a more feminine design when she's human, then warp it into a more "monstrous" appearance when as Daimon, considering the original has no remnants of their former appearance. Also curious on how you will interpret her personality, have it as a person who simply wants a love one to hold on too(especially considering how much the original lost his beloved and adoptive mother to the cycle) or keep the original's no nonsense, nihilistic and destructive mindset and personality to give Allen a nasty reminder that this is the antithesis of all arisen and the cycle itself.

We need more nice, cute goblins in works, not just fan works. For too long, goblins have been depicted as horrible monsters and cannon fodder.

NO MORE, I SAY! I shall create a goblin OC, and she will be a good guy! I WILL SHOW THAT GOBLINS CAN BE HEROES TOO!

Anyway, nice pic.

I agree! We deserve a cute gobbo girl who wants to help others and be heroic!

Thanks!

I've played it. Beat the game but not the island, either.

I was a Warlock and I love the AoE attacks...I meteor and tornado'ed my enemies from a distance while my partner went in to smash their heads open as a Magic Knight.

That's what I did on my very first playthrough! XD Made Henry a sorcerer, though my pawn was a loli warrior class with a BIG club. How was your partner a magic knight? The game doesn't let pawns use that class.
