Unless there's actual gameplay content that's in the PS3 version that's not in the 360 version then I'll pass.
I didn't mind the English voices in Star Ocean 2 for the PS1 or Star Ocean 3 for PS2 for that matter. I fail to see how Japanese voices will affect my gameplay/storyline experience.
Now if the game was a director's cut like Vesperia in which there's extra scenarios, character costumes, weapons, etc., THAT might sway me.

Two of my friends are into RPGs and were telling me about it - never really got into RPGs. Last one I have is Magna Carta (which I never finished).

I'm okay with the Final Fantasy Series, and I will admit 7 was good. I just don't understand the fervor some people have for that game. Or any game for that matter.

That's fair enough. I think games are like films and music in that respect, that some people will bond really strongly with it for whatever reason, be it the characters, the story, gameplay, or just the memories that come with thinking about the game. I think for me it's the atmosphere that certain games evoke, FFVII really drew me in like no game had before and not many games have since.

Truth. The industry hasn't been very forthcoming with real, enticing games. I guess my discontent is more or less due to the apparent craze of the new Madden (which is the same game year after year).

Agreed, in a world where near-identical yearly updates of sports titles run rampant through the charts, there seems to be little hope of finding a genuinely emotionally affecting game. At least we'll always have Ico and Shadow of the Colossus.
