Description
Hello [indeed to be formal is such a waste]
Never before had such a thought occurred
That the names are meaningless
I find it to be rather absurd.

Easily a number should be assigned us each
They can stay still acute with simplicity
For an assignment of a name
Is nonetheless, still an assigned atrocity.

I am but another stitch in the quilt

What you see is not out of divinity
No, for we are proud and righteous
Worldly and crude, closed off and intellectual.

Ignorance is bliss, luckily for us
The automatons we spoke of gaily
Nothing but another number’s number.

Hello [existence is inevitably erased]
I would not worry too much, it causes wrinkles
To ruin such beauty would be a sin
Such vanity certainly equates to great piety.

I am but another stitch in the quilt

It is fine to be thankless, it is no less habitual
You may fall inebriated, spewing out the gulliver
If there is no one pulling you up, it is no less spiritual
That an abandoned man reaps less the benefits from his abandoned mates.

Keep a safe distance, people are infectious
Those less knowledged will never see
Infected people are no more diseased
As the minds less knowledged, polluted like me.

Hello [yield to your pleasure that this isn’t real]
I had not intended on you coming this far
Most would not see this through
But rather live in princely lives of mar.

I shall wait for awhile
But not for long – make your decision soon
Do you trust these words or take them in vain?
Think about it – our lives are already half past noon.

Ponder, ponder, ponder…

I bet you are just another stitch in the quilt

This is cool and funky! I don't quite get what you are trying to say, but then again, poetry is not my thing. I like the sound and feel of it as you read it. This is my favorite stanza:
"Keep a safe distance, people are infectious
Those less knowledged will never see
Infected people are no more diseased
As the minds less knowledged, polluted like me."

A comparison of knowledge and pollution - very cool! XD

I'm really not quite sure myself what it is about. I guess you might say it's about how our worldliness means nothing, or that we are just toys created by some higher power (or manipulated by others). That's my basis for including that second to last line, because it makes you think about that for a little (possibly, it probably depends on the person).

Thanks youu!
