tbh, half the reason I came up with Role Reversal AU was for the "put lalna in a mask" part lmao. Then I made Rythian happy and kind of an asshole and then I got attached to the entire idea.

mmmm I think scars have just kind of become fanon for it? I can kind of understand not wanting to do something else, I cheat a lot in doing flux with just throwing spots 'n shit on Nano instead of designing something unique : P. I've actually got a host of ideas on what might actually be under there...

lets be real its only because scars are easy to draw

idk if the flux is that comparable tho! i've seen really amazing flux designs and theyre like oh my god yes but i mean. the only thing we really know about flux is that it makes stuff purple so just coiling purple lines on their skin is keeping with the MC skins + therefore original designs. those super cool swirls are awesome but yknow a purple arm suffices! 

yes i love mask theories! my favourites are
-an enderman mouth (all goopy and gross YAASS)
-no mouth (zoey is disappointed)
-a beard. just a beard. a big, ragged beard. that's it. he shrugs and asks "what did you think was under there?" you're not sure what to tell him. youre just so distracted by the beard. all you can manage to think is "why"

Not to mention it's p much canon it's NOT scars. Rythian has mentioned before about everyone incorrectly assuming popular fanon as canon, I can online imagine he was implying the scars.

mmm I suppose. I just love stuff that's like.. the growing minerals or tattoos or flowers 'n stuff. All my attempts are... really bad ha ha.

Rythian has joked about it being a beard before! XD A few people drew art of it, a long time ago actually. And my friend has a personal canon that his mouth is like a void. Poor Zoey indeed, lol. The version I use most for art is just blackened veins really. As much as I love the "transforming into endercreature" thing I don't think that's aaaanywhere near canon so I usually just use it for my own enjoyment lmao.

yeah the headcanon flux designs are so amazingly cool. i cant remember, someone gave her flux wings? and i was like ohhh my god. flux nano is so cool. i wrote a nanomadia fic where she goes ham w/ flux powers at the end and it was the most fun fic i've ever written. probably astoundingly inaccurate considering ive never seen flux buddies but alas! nano goin ham. im only human

i kinda like designs where its like? kind of magic scarring or something, i had a headcanon once that he had something similar to flux, a discolouration of the skin, more magic he uses, more it spreads, hence going from a tank to a really horrendously lame and hideous white cloak for some reason why is s3-- 
tho i think i still combined it w/ an enderman mouth because REASONS
but i mean ones that are kinda magical n stuff are p cool! im more into like, that one pic where he has a mouth like an alien, usu one of the first results its super realistic n stuff. yeah man go hard. but i mean most headcanons are pretty neat
my fave is still umbrella rythian. from now till the end of time. i know thats not a mask headcanon but still.

yeah I remember that! The original piece is buried somewhere in my yogscast tag, whoever started that idea is amazing. I mean, considering they have wings in Flux Buddies rn, it... almost kind of... came true hmmmm....
Don't worry about "inaccurate" with yogscast man lol, half the fun is running wildly off track from "canon"!! That fic sounds awesome.

I wanna know, but at the same time I'm worried it's kind of been so built up and such a mystery for such a long time, whatever it is might be kinda like.. disappointing?? Like it's almost better for us to just wonder about it for forever. Kind of like SoI being so hyped for so long, Lewis is worried it it ever returns it just would never be good enough lol. 

yEAH I'm all about that too, like the longer he goes the more is spreads and stuff I love that. I actually kind of envision like when he's using a lot of power, he kind of... cracks and glows? Like in GotG here. I just suck too much to manage to draw it lol.

And umbrella rythian is forever, he will never be forgotten as long as we keep his memory alive inside out hearts. And draw fan art.

from what I've gathered. Echo, is a tumblr given name to specimen 5. the Nanosounds clone that Lalnable created in the fluxbuddies series.
The story being that since she is a copy of a sound, it makes sense to call her an echo.
