Description 1st version of the digital Enderverse Explosion!

I really like how I drew some of them, and then I hate how I drew others... I am still not happy with pretty much any of Ender's Jeesh's faces. But Bean's is driving me absolutely nuts. He just does not look right, at all.

Oh well. Maybe I'll do another revision of this....

I have read most of the series, yes. I have read the both the Ender and Shadow Quartet. As well as most of the short stories (to my knowledge), Ender in Exile, Shadows in Flight, and Earth Unaware.

I haven't read "Children of the Mind" and "Shadows of Puppets" yet. IΒ  read also "The Crystal City", "The Memory of Earth", "The Call of Earth" and "Songmaster". Card is a genius, I think.
There are still written books from the Ender's and Shadows' sagas.

I actually haven't read The Memory of Earth, or The Call of Earth or any of those. I keep trying to pick up his other books but for some reason I always get side tracked. I read Children of the Mind and Shadow Puppets quite some time ago. Actually, I read all of these books quite a while ago. Maybe someday I will reread them...

I read "Ender's Game" when I was a six, maybe seven-years-old child, so for me it is a book of my childhood. I love Card's writing - it's not clear... Sci-Fi, not clear Fantasy, but has the motives taken from those types of books. But Card focuses on the psychology of his characters - I think, that there are not really many writers, who can operate this motives so creatively.
You have to read. They are great.
Do you know any another good Sci-Fi writers and recommend me them?

Oops, how did I miss this?!

I'm actually pretty bad at tracking authors, but I am a fan of NPR's Top 100 challenges: www.listchallenges.com/npr-top…

Hope you find it interesting too and maybe find something you might like!

Thanks so much!

Alessandra and Alai have to be my favorite, but I think you made everyone look unique and different which is a great job done! Love the fan art, thankyou so much for making it! ^w^

It's good to hear you think everyone looks unique!! That's one of the biggest challenges I have -- is not having everyone look the same. Sometimes I try removing hair, clothes and accessories and ask myself: does this person look unique? Usually that's a no. Haha. Something I'm trying to work on.

It's funny that two people have decided Alai is their favorite in this -- I thought he was one of the worst ones! Just goes to show you... sometimes the artists have no idea.

And you are very welcome!! I am very glad you enjoy my fan art!

Let me just say that I will shortly be kidnapping Achilles and keeping him in my closet. Is that okay with you?

And Alai and Han Tzu are pretty. Actually, everyone is pretty. But Alai most of all.

ceres-de-rehka In reply to jessicasaurus [2011-06-22 20:59:37 +0000 UTC]

Oh dear, you're not putting him in the same closet as Captain Stubbles are you? I'm not sure they'd play nicely together.

I'm glad you like Alai and Han Tzu! I don't draw them often so I'm still working on getting designs for them...
