So today I took the time to paint a picture of John Laurens (portrayed by Anthony Ramos).
I feel like he's a somewhat overlooked character not only in the show but as a person in history. Even as a strong abolitionist, one of the soldiers who negotiated the treaty in Yorktown, and escorted Thomas Paine, he's still managed to be looked over.

I personally thought that Story of Tonight was one of the most touching points in the show and I wanted to give the song and the character a little love ^^
