Character Design for fun mostly, wanted something to put in my portfolio but I don't know if this is good enough. I'll have to work on it a little more before then.Started out as a Thief design, which evolved to an Archer from there. I'm... so bad at certain things... BUT rather than dwell I need to move on to more pieces that force me to work on those particular struggles.
About 4-5 hours wrestling with it.
SIDE NOTE: She doesn't need a quiver, OR ARROWS! She makes them from magic. Yeah, magic.

love the design, however, the brown in the bow seems a bit out of place with all the blues and greys used in her costume

see sidenote. Haha I actually forgot about them when i posted it. I didn't want to spend anymore time fixing it. It was originally a thief so I wasn't even thinking about it. oops!

I love everything but the legs. the lower half is giving a nervous, unsteady pose, while the top is strong and sure. it's throwing me off. otherwise wonderfull design and rendering!

Awesome design. All the outfit pieces work well together, and the hat is a very nice touch (and gorgeous). The bow looks great too, the design is simple but it works just fine.
And I must say, you did and amazing job with the lighting. The different textures are so well depicted.

They are some interesting metal elements there that are not usual on archer characters but fit great on this one! I love seeing new stuff c:

If this was a playeable race in some sort of RPG i'd so chose it ^^
I absolutely envy your coloring technique, and the shaing is so life-like! I've seen shading that makes characters look like they're under some sort of hospital light, everything looks... staged.
That's why i love to see a shading like this, so fluid... I might give it a try!

Man I'd love to see it in some RPG! Thats the goal. Maybe someday I could get a chance to design some characters!
Yeah lighting is so tough and coloring is so fickle, when its wrong its really easy to tell. Definitely try new things! I'll post more progress/tutorial stuff sometime soon.
