Aaah, I do hope more happens between them. They are so cute! Mei would be the spoiled and romance-loving girlfriend with her hilarious antics and proper and polite but tough demeanor and Al would be all romantic and doting and amused and at times annoyed. IT'S LOVE. 8D

Are you talking about the ending? XD Well, that WAS two years later. And -shudder-, the first anime makes him look like he's a little primary schooler (not to mention the whole "dressing up as Ed" was kinda freaky 
As a bonus, Al looks ten times more hotter as a human in BH and the manga
And Mei has to be at least 12 to have those curves sticking out of her clothing (more noticeable in the manga, lol 
The manga is A-MAZING. I checked the ratings on this one manga site (mangaupdates, I think), and it was the highest rated.

...Yeah, he seems really, really, for lack of a better word, dumb in the first one. I watched Brotherhood and was totally mind-blown by its awesomeness, so I've been watching the first one. I'm almost done, too. It's not bad, but I just can't get into it as much. It's not as interesting or deep or well thought out and poignant....I thought he looked adorable in the Ed's clothes, but I won't exactly be wearing my brother's plaid shirts when he goes off to collage. ...It is a bit...awkward...
I'm never able to keep track of ages...But your logic conquers mine...
