Those of us in Seattle have been snowed-in for for a couple of weeks, with some days when we could not get out at all.
This painting really conveys the energy of the storm, the wind eddies, snow, and bitter cold. It is enough to make one shiver. Those footprints won't be there for long.
This is what always makes our work so special, the infused energy, attitude, mood, or emotion in your work. I see a piece and I am always moved in some way.

yes, a friend of mine comes from maine (omg that is amlost a rhyme) and she says if she comes to a visit to germany that they have actually the same weather.
hot and humid? EEW! if there is a definition of hell, it is hot and humid.
i hate the feeling if you want to wipe your sweat that you just sweat more.

Argh, this makes me want to be there so badly! It evokes a very magical feeling. It looks like a place in World of Warcraft or something. I love it so much!

Do you ever get snow? I grew up with it, but where I live now we only get a little - I'm always wishing for more.
I've been doing more landscapes/environments for this class I'm taking, and while I still prefer painting figures, this is also fun.

If our Winters were, say - just 10 degrees colder (Celcius that is, so maybe around 30-ish or so in Farenheight) then we would get snow Though Sydney is usually a warm, sunny city when people think of it, it does get chilly during our relatively short Winters, sometimes at night, it even gets below freezing point...But still, the closest thing I've seen to snow is just the dew on the grass frozen over in the morning, that usually melts just a few hours after sunrise anyway
There's a mountain range that's a few hours drive West of here though, and that gets a lot of snow in Winter, if anyone visits Australia in Winter, don't dump your ski's just yet until you go there everywhere else...it just rains a lot
