Can't remember if I mentioned it before, but Ursula Vernon's "Digger" had vampire squash (apparently an actual bit of Eastern European folklore)... 7@=Q

one of the robots in Freefall(comic) said -to paraphrase- 'if we could get them to work on plutonium instead of solar, we could have redwood forests in a week'

Last time we had magic pumpkins they turned into a floating island...  So flying pumpkins may not be too much of a stretch.

What did Celia end up doing with the bunch she stole from Floating Pumpkin Island after the giant air battle anyway?

At the very least we might have vegetables growing in the background of a few comics in the future... maybe...

Call it a brick joke and bring them back later after they've had some time to grow.

I dunno we usually get them in late summer up until october. We plant smaller carieties though, like the Hokkaido pumpkin, the summer squash and the little big Jack.

No, raising different types of plants in different types of radiation (science, magical, etc) and seeing what happens.  Whatever happens is the result.

I know, it's just... The process may be correct but the intentions aren't.

It's Celia.  She always intends the most extreme result.
