Mom always bugged me about my liking of monsters. She said I only liked ugly characters (which is totally untrue, I love cute, sexy characters more than monsters). But she was right in something. I have always felt an attraction towards the "evil" guys on any story.And in this case, the evil ones are the Toriyama-designed monsters from Dragon Quest IV, attacking the early party from the game's fifth chapter.

Just think of a few monsters and then think what they would be doing. How each of them attack and all that. That will help you know what pose each of them would most likely have.
The small ghouls can sometimes be separated into two different ghouls when attacked. That brought the idea to portray what happens when the attack actually works.

The next scene I plan on doing will be what the Kalderasha sees with Valentina, Bangerz, Mash, and Rosalind at the table. Β Lorenzo is actually asked to leave the room.

There are more DQ fan artists in the West now, but some years ago, almost no one outside of Japan created any art for these games, which was sad.
