Alright, meet Myrddin Llwyd and his Corgi Fflamddwyn
No, I did not just choose those names to be obnoxious...though it was tempting to choose worse @.@

I'm not really sure I like the colours for Myrddin's uniform...I might change them. There WAS a certain colour theme from the game I was trying to follow, though...[link]
The blue and grey come from it, but I wanted to keep with his area theme...so his outfit and the rest of the colours are fairly plain, to keep with the background put into his bio.

And before anyone asks, Fflamddwyn is a Cardigan Welsh Corgi, not a Pembroke. Hence the tail. :3 I prefer my Corgis with tails X p

Personality: Myrddin loves to have fun. He can usually be found harassing people from afar, or setting up pranks for anyone he feels likes messing with. The harmlessness of his pranks depends on whether the victim is friend or foe…and poor Fflamddwyn is usually used as the lookout for most of his escapades.
Myrddin’s favourite thing to do is run around the city’s rooftops, with Fflamddwyn following around on the streets just below.
His second favourite thing to do is to laze about is some quiet, sunny spot, with Fflamddwyn resting nearby (usually on his feet). He usually takes those lazy days to make small wood carvings. Call it stress-relief.

Myrddin has a great love for practical jokes, but especially for stories, and he’s always willing to sit down and listen to a new tale. The better you are at telling stories (or taking a joke) the more he likes you. He doesn’t take criticism well, though he doesn’t over-react to it or anything. He usually just flinches/winces and gets really quiet, especially during a scolding. At these times his boots suddenly become very interesting.

He hates speaking Italian, and his thick accent just makes it harder for him, so he usually just stays silent (though he can understand just about every word). If his rebellious mouth-muscles didn’t hate the combination of accent and Latin-based language so much, he’d be a total chatterbox, and he usually is when you can coax him into speaking (unfortunately, this only counts for speakers of English and Welsh at the moment).

Myrddin is scared of women. Well…not really…more like terrified. His cheeks and ears go all pink, and he bits his lip, and never meets their eyes, and talks even LESS than usual, stuttering more horribly than usual when actually prompted to exercise his vocal chords. That’s the general reaction he has towards women. Saying that…strong women like Eloisa…and ESPECIALLY La Signora…well, they scare the crap out of him. More than Templars. The only reason he’s so afraid of Templars is because he has the worst habit of turning a corner and running face-first into one. Oddly enough, he’s fine with kids. He loves singing for them in his native language, or telling them stories from his childhood (his favourite is the legend of King Arthur lol), and many of the wood carvings he makes are usually given to local children that he meets. But that only counts for the ones who are already potty-trained. Babies scare the crap out of him, too.

All-in-all, Myrddin is kind of a goof, though he USUALLY manages to recognize when he should get serious…usually. Though his...aloof and cheeky attitude tends to persist in most situations.

He gets pretty lonely, though, as he’s used to having a large family around, but has none to speak of living in Italy. There will be times when he disappears somewhere, Fflamddwyn close at his heels, and curls up in a quiet corner to wait out another bout of home-sickness

He is left-handed, so he keeps his hand gloved for when he's using long-range weapons.

Fflamddwyn is pretty easy to describe. He’s adorable, bouncy, and loyal to a fault. He absolutely adores Myrddin and would follow him anywhere (which he DID do, lol). He’s usually used as a watch-dog, or a look-out when Myrddin is doing something particularly sneaky, and has a bad habit of nipping at people’s heels and ankles when they aren’t going in the right direction…or just when they’re going somewhere he doesn’t want them to be. He’s not trained to fight, though he does his best to be a distraction whenever an ankle becomes bite-able, and has become adept at weaving through large crowds without being stepped-on. He’s actually a very intelligent little dog, and usually knows what he’s supposed to do even before Myrddin opens his mouth.

Biography: Myrddin grew up in a small village in Wales, with a fairly normal and uneventful life. His family was a large one, with lots of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and siblings, so he was always surrounded by people he knew, and though he learned to value his alone-time at a young age, he would always have someone to spend time with.

Myrddin’s family raised sheep and cattle, so they had a small pack of Cardigan Welsh Corgis running around in the fields, and he and the other children in the family adored the little dogs. When he was about eight, one of his Uncles taught him how to carve small wood figures, and it became one of his favourite things to do in his time alone.

He was about ten when he really started helping his father and older brothers with some of the animals, though he usually took care of the dogs more often than the livestock.

When Myrddin was twelve or thirteen, one of his family’s Corgis had a litter of puppies, and he met his best friend for the very first time. Fflamddwyn was the runt of the litter, and was very nearly discarded because of it, but Myrddin immediately fell in love with the puppy, and begged his father to keep him. So, Myrddin cared for Fflamddwyn from day one, making sure he got enough milk, then food, and training him to do all sorts of tasks. The Corgi was just as taken with the boy as he was with it, following Myrddin everywhere he went. Wherever one went, the other was not far behind.

Unfortunately, when Myrddin was about fifteen, he was forced to leave his family. Being the youngest of such a large family had already come at a disadvantage, but in the years after Fflamddwyn had been born, his family had started to fall into some hard times. Already some of his cousins had been sent away, with hope that they would have a better time. Then, it was Myrddin’s turn. The rest of the family could no longer help support Myrddin’s branch, and so when the Father of their small local church started making plans to go to Rome, Myrddin’s parents begged the holy man to take their son with him. They thought that he would fare better with the church, and that he would find a better life in Rome. The Father agreed, only because Myrddin had been so talented in his studies of Latin, and the boy was taken away (he, of course, hid Fflamddwyn in one of his bags when no one was looking. To this day he’s amazed that no one noticed). The only thing he has left to remember his parents, now, are the hand-knitted scarf from his mother he keeps around his waist (he unwraps it and puts it around his neck instead during cold weather), and the small carving knife his father gave him on his twelfth birthday.

After arriving in Rome, Myrddin was immediately put to work. Unfortunately for the church, he didn’t really like his new living arrangements. After only a year in Rome (his excellent grasp of Latin helping him to pick up the language well enough to get by), Myrddin and Fflamddwyn ditched the church and took to the streets. He spent another year or two wandering around, sometimes stealing, sometimes taking odd jobs, until he found his way into the Brotherhood (it may have involved a failed prank on a random assassin, who may have dragged him back with them by his ankles). After that, well…he may have been so terrified of the weapon wielding people around him that he…offered to join them…? Okay, so he’s a bit weird…but he LIKES his job, now. And even though he’d like to go back to Wales more than anything, he’s pretty glad he tripped the day he tried to prank an assassin.
