Meet Jessica, Melissa, and Natalie Gordon, better known as the Checkmate Elite.

Bio:
Vanessa has given birth to her beloved triplets, Melissa, Jessica, and Natalie, three beautiful girls. These triplets are especially unique from each other and everyone else, and their bond is without bounds.

Jessica Gordon, the oldest of the triplets, is perhaps the most special; she is fully human with no Wendigo traits or abilities of any kind. But it doesn't mean she's defenseless; Jessica has the abilities of father-- cosmic abilities. The Stuff of Space courses in her veins, giving her superhuman strength, speed, flight, durability, and other powers not mentioned by name. Jessica, like her father, is laid back, charismatic, and always has her eye on the prize. Jessica is five and a half feet tall, just five inches shorter than her dad. She is also extremely intelligent, having a level 9 intellect. Jessica had also graduated high school early while her two younger siblings stayed for the full four years. However, with her vast intellect and strength, Jessica doesn't see herself as superior to others. She treats everyone, herself included, as equals. But sometimes, with her intelligence, her power… they can all prove to be her downfall. Sometimes, Jessica believes that she can't save everyone from danger, including her family. What scares her the most is that one day, if she's not careful, she might lose control of herself. And there are even times she was pushed to the limit of hurting someone, or to kill. But Jessica would never let herself cross the line of killing, even if she does comes across those who will test her resolve. Everyday, however, she is learning new ways to get a better understanding of herself and her abilities, and how to control them.

Oftentimes, Jessica would speak in a French accent as a means of making herself sounds sophisticated, but her sisters, mainly Natalie, think she's just speaking in a foreign accent just to hide from herself, but Jessica keeps denying that.

Melissa Gordon, the middle child, is a special one; with her older sibling being born fully human, Melissa is fully Wendigo. And even more interesting, she has horns of a ram, unlike her Wendigo relatives. Personality wise, Melissa is like her mother; ditzy, kind hearted, and very sweet. Unlike her siblings who are more serious, Melissa is more friendly and outgoing. She stands at five feet and ten inches in height, and weighs over 500 pounds-- nowhere close to her mom's Wendigo height or weight. As a middle child, Melissa strives to prove herself to her other siblings and parents, but almost always gets into trouble. Like most born fully Wendigo, fitting in was very difficult for Jessica, and still does to this day.

But if there's anyone that's having difficulty fitting in, it has to be the last triplet, Natalie. Who wants to be your friend if you look like a she devil? Her appearance is a result of a mutation in her genome; Natalie was suppose to be a Wendigo, but turned out to be a meta human beaming cosmic radiation, of which is, thankfully, not harmful.

Natalie is studious in nature, level headed, and less irrational than Jessica. She gets along well with Melissa for she can relate with her situation, and is not so hard as her older triplet. Natalie serves as the voice of reason for the triplets, giving the rights and wrongs to her sisters. Without her, Jessica would've lost control and Melissa might've remained socially isolated.

POWERS & ABILITIES

All of Buster's children have his cosmic abilities in some way. Example, Marquis Gordon has immunity to fire, and has pryokinesis (the ability to control fire.) So what about the triplets? What are their special quirks?

♤Jessica Gordon/ Pawn: Jessica is what is called a "polymorph", having more than one power, such as super speed, super strength, flight, hypersonic hearing, heat vision, super breath (you get the point).

♡Melissa Gordon/ Rook: As a full Wendigo, Melissa naturally serves as the muscle…. a cosmic muscle. Those horns aren't just for show, she puts them to good use. With her strength, speed, and flight, Melissa can deliver one helluva head butt that would rival any ram. However, Melissa has only scratched the surface with her abilities, and has much to discover about herself-- very much like Jessica.

◇Natalie Gordon/ Bishop: And last, but most definitely not least, Natalie. Her abilities are most especially unique. Like her sisters, she has flight, but only half of the strength as them. But Natalie has an additional power: reality distortion; with a single touch, she can replace ordinary matter with strange matter, displacing the reality makeup of anything and anyone.[a clearer example, she can turn fire into goo, water into concrete, and a person into anything]. And Natalie can create anything out of anything. But her greatest feat with her reality distortion is that she can manipulate the reality around others, and display realities that could be or what will be.

But all these powers and abilities are just the tip of the iceberg compared to what the Checkmate Elite can do. These triplets have the awesome ability to fuse into a super Cosmic Wendigo they call Queen. She is a being that towers over all. Having six arms, four tails, and the strength to move an entire mountain! Her/their power is indeed unrivaled. Never defeated, an unstoppable force of nature.
