Description The crepes that ran through Justin as the gates slammed behind them evaporated and were replaced by a sense of total awe.
The view reveled to him was breath taking.
From each side of the paved road they were now taking in the direction of the mansion grew brightly colored flowers all over the green grounds.
Paved trails led, each to another way, between the marvel made fountains which shot crystal clear water to the air above them, and the stone carved benches who was placed all around in the shades of huge trees.

As they drove on Justin kept his eyes on the beautiful cared gardens all around without taking notice of the eyes that watched him.

As they approached the mansion Justin's awe only grew.
The huge building in front of them was surrounded by the gardens and looked as a very interesting combination of old and new decor and style.
It was made of the same amber colored Italian marvel as the one that was used on the surrounding walls of the grounds.
As they approached the entrance a huge double wooden door appeared before them, which stood on the top of a grand, fan shaped, staircase which was made of the same marvel as the walls.

The car stopped at the bottom of the staircase and the man steeped out and turned to the doors. Justin hurriedly pulled his things and hurried after him.
As the man reached the top of the stairs he opened both doors in one swift movement and entered the entrance hall.
It was a beautiful place with its high windows that send sunshine in bouncing of the marvel floor.

As the man entered he turned to a stair case leading to the top floors as Justin followed, his eyes wondering around and appreciating the decor.
The man walked down the halls of the second floor until he reached a long corridor which had numerous big windows on each side of it that gave a great view of the surrounding grounds and only led to a double wooden door.

As Justin followed down the hall, he took site of something bright blue that he recognized as a pool and more forms behind it which were to far to make out.

Here also the man did not stop but opened the doors as he did the entrance ones, with one swift push.
Justin was out of breath as soon as he steeped in the room. It was big and roomy and was beautifully decorated.
Big windows, which he guessed were an on going motif, were placed high above, sending sun light inside that was partly blocked by the red curtains which were tied to the wall on each side of every window. The room had a hard wood floor in a cherry shade as were the walls in a brighter shade.

Near most of the walls stood wooden bookcase almost as high as the ceiling and on them were placed a great number of books that made Justin's heart race.
Titles such as: "The Odyssey: a historic-legendary study", " Tales of Greece: the known and forgotten", "Stories and legends of the worlds" and so forth.

Justin had a great interest in the stories and folklore of different nations and people. He had vogue memories of his parents who did not only shear his interest, but who were archeologists, and the trips he had with them when they were out on digs around the world.
Their specialty was folklores and tales of ancient nations.

Across them stood a king sized bed made of dark wood with matching red hangings. To her left was a wooden closet made of the same dark wood as the bed. To her right were a desk and a chair both, too, of the same black wood and the chair was padded with leather.

"I have to go" the voice came from behind him and broke his train of though.
He turned to face the man behind him, that know examined his expression eye to eye.
"I have a matter to take care of, make your self at home."
They gazed into each other eyes as if they looked into the other's soul and than without another word the man turned and walked away leaving Justin alone in the room.

As Justin started to unpack he heard the motor of the car being turned on and the car driving away, but he soon stopped to examine the books on the shelves. He felt as though they have been laid there as though on purpose, for him.

He opened his suit case and took out the books he had with him.
The only thing he had to remember his parents by, the only thing they left for him, all others were unaccounted for.

He turned around and found a place for his book on one of the shelves.
"to bad this is going to be such a short visit.", He thought, "his probably on his way back to the center to say he changed his mind."

"Rachel! Rachel?! Come on let go, were going to be late!" called the tall, brown haired woman to her daughter.
"one moment mom, I'm coming!" the girl called back as she went to the drinking fountain before they left the park.
She drank, and was startled when she looked up because of the man who stood in front of her. He wore black clothes and hold a wired cane in his hand. In his free hand he held one blue balloon who floated tied to a white string.

He bent down so they were looking at each other eye to eye as he gazed into her eyes. She looked back into the mysteries brown gaze that was on her.

"Here you go sweetheart" he said as he smiled and handed her the balloon in his hand. She took it and he stood up. She felt a worm sensation spreading from her hand that held the balloon to her whole body.

They still gazed into each others eyes. His eyes went over her hairless head. He turned and left without a look back.
The girl gazed at the balloon in her hand. "thank…" she started to say as she looked up to thank the man, but he was no were to be seen.

"Rachel, lets go" called her mother again.

"Where did you get that sweetie?" her mother asked as she returned to her.
"I… I… I don’t remember, mom" she replied.
"well never mind, come now where going to be late, for the examination." she took her daughter's hand as they walked to their car which was parked near the park.

In the shade of a big tree stood the man. He watched Rachel and her mother walking to he car and smiled, and then he disappeared into the shadow.

Rachel and her mo were a few minutes late but the doctor only led them to the scanner room and said noting of the late.

A few minutes later the doctor cam out looking upset, and approached Rachel's mother.

"What happened? Is she all right? she questioned at the doctors look.
"It's o.k., she's o.k., actually more then o.k. …" the doctor said as though in a loss for words.
"What do you mean more than… what happened?"
"ma'am, you daughter's cancer, how do I put it, it's… gone…"

Did you think of a way to connect it to the rest of the story? or is it just a power display?

Do you honestly believe I'm doing something without a reason or dick doing something without a reason? Come on.... it's like you don't know me.
You shall see the consequences of his acts in the future, not necessarily in this one but you will see…
