Description
Here is my best and somewhat first attempt at a good detailed pencil crayon drawing. Phew... First I scetched it in pencil and then erased all the unecessary lines and messy shapes, then I couloured it area by area. This was drawn coloured with crayola pencil crayons and I used some fine sharpie for the eyes and stripes.

This is a rainbow lorikeet one of my many favourite birds, it is native to to Papua new guinea and the north and along the west coast of Australia plus island around the general area. They travel in flocks and live off a diet of nectar and pollen from flowers and some types of fruit. There are several variations within the species in different areas.
