Well this one is from last year...Ink on Paper
Sadly I am starting to get absorbed with the things that matter most in life and responsibilities I cant get away from, so I think this will be one of the last illustrations Ill be posting..... Ultimately I lack interest in art now dayβs I got other illustrations that ill probably will post on this forum but Ill be giving it up gradually.... any ways enjoy

You've got real talent at drawing women, man. You really do... it makes me jealous
And what's this about giving up art? I don't know if you're considering it still, but I think it'd be a mistake. You have such an original art style that stands out from so many of the cookie cutter stuff you find out there. It'd be a shame to see someone of your caliber leave art. Well, when you lose interest in something there's really nothing you can do about it. Good luck in whatever you do!

Here's a bit of advice. If you don't take advice well, take consolation in the fact that I don't give it often.
Eventually you will realize that making it means a lot less than you had hoped. Every artist has to deal with the possibility of always remaining undiscovered or unappreciated. There are many moments of discovery. Just recently I came in contact with your work. Just now you know me. Maybe one of us will always be someone who doesn't make it, or maybe both of us. Maybe not. It doesn't matter. I tried for a long time to get attention from people I thought I wanted to work for or with. I was either used, or ignored. That hurt, but it doesn't matter either. Now I work for myself... because inside I know, only I can bring certain things into this world.. and my life will mean a lot less to me if I have to look back at the place where I decided that my Art was the thing that didn't matter enough, instead of whether I was recognized or successful. Be true to your vision, and your purpose. Then when you look back without regret, the day will have to come when others will look back with respect.
But I remind you, many see your talent now.. and already feel what a waste it would be to see it set aside.

I appreciate the fact that you took the time in writing down your thoughts on my present decision... witch I am not making straight away, Ill repeat my self once again and tell ya all that Ill gradually will give it up....
But to be honest with you I had never made the thought to become famous or for that matter rich by drawing cute girls with giant swords.....
Seriously I think for anyone out there that wants to make it as a commercial illustrator has to display a unique original vision and a high level of technique. Now if you want to become an actual artist; well thatβs something different all together. I say you got to tackle mature subjects introducing something unique to the art community and visualize your work in a unique original style.....ether way those are my thoughts about art and commercial illustrationβ¦..
I must thank you and every one else ho has made comments on my little talent but right now I just lack time β¦ and most of all interest

Everyone thinks about giving up at some point man. I think once you've taken a break for awhile you'll find that your life isn't complete without it. Or maybe you'll find happiness in the simplicity of not challenging yourself
The hard road is more rewarding.

I've been around...just not submitting much. I mostly just do concept sketches and figure drawing lately, and I don't like submitting those.

You're welcome! Yeah, I really do enjoy the curviness (sp?) of their bodies! It makes them look very fluid and just nice!
